Direct Speech in Spam

Today when I got the following spam message, I started wondering who in the world would feel spoken to when getting the following subject:

Thank you, Mr. David Mckee for reminding me what a blessed creature of elevated intellect and looks I am, since I guess one needs to be a middle-aged, single, unattractive human being with a repelling personality to feel addressed by this spam. Coming to think of it, there might just be a quite large audience for this. The only thing missing would be the female counterpart. But there might just be middle-aged, single, unattractive human beings of the female sex. Argh, my brain hurts now.
